Are you ready to get out and party this year? Whether you want to leave behind another strange year with a multi-course feast, vegetarian or downright indulgent, or enjoy a family-friendly early-night balloon, there’s a place for you.
Drink, Dine and Stay: The Liberty Hotel
Don’t book a room at the Liberty Hotel on NYE unless you want to party. Housed in a former prison, this place oozes atmosphere – and its massive three-story patio will be decked out for an epic party. Golded – A Lavish Christmas Eve Fête will take place on all levels of The Liberty Hotel’s main rotunda and will feature three of Boston’s top DJs, two dance floors, entertainment and aerial performances by The Boston Circus Guild. But first, kick off with a light dinner buffet from 8pm to 10pm courtesy of CLINK Chef Daniel Kenney. Ticket options (starting at $205 for general admission), include general admission, VIP Liberty Bar and Catwalk Lounge table service packages, and overnight packages including party tickets, as well as CLINK dinner packages including event tickets except for the NYE fixe prix menu.

Whether you have kids or just prefer to go to bed early, you won’t miss out on the fun at the Summer Shack. The restaurant is hosting a special, family-friendly NYE Around the World party, celebrating every New Year’s Eve the world over with a balloon drop every hour from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. traditional New England Clam Hut.
Games and great cocktails: High Street Place

Not to mention passing up bites and drinks from several of High Street Place’s 21 unique vendors. Try your luck with funny money casino games like craps, black jack and roulette. But don’t worry if you don’t eat fish – every dish also offers a vegetarian option – from golden beetroot with turmeric cream to mushroom risotto.
Enjoy an authentic Cantonese feast prepared by Michelin-starred chef Richard Chen at Encore Boston Harbor. The $125 per person set menu includes a dim sum sampler, soup, entrée selection and dessert. Menu items include options such as steamed pork and black truffle cabbage bun, stir-fried Szechuan lamb and calamansi yuzu tart.
