Watch 2 bug traps that enrage Reinhard inside the enemy

A Reinhardt player has a rather terrifying experience after an Overwatch 2 bug sees the German tank trapped inside the enemy spawn in Blizzard’s multiplayer game. The bug sees Reinhardt suck the wall that normally prevents players from getting too close to their opponents spawn room. You might think that this isolation behind enemy lines would see them taken down quickly, but the player manages to intimidate his opponents for quite some time thanks to some stellar Overwatch 2 support play.

The incident is recorded on the Dorado Overwatch 2 map – those familiar with it will be well aware that the initial attack is a very popular place for defenders to push in close. With a slightly high ground for defenders outside the gate, plenty of nearby buildings to retreat or snipe, and plenty of escape routes, it’s an ideal place to attempt a spawn camp without too many ramifications if you wipe out the team.

The bug appears to involve both Reinhardt and Orisa being played on the enemy team – meaning this is apparently taking place in one of Overwatch 2’s arcade modes, or the open queue mode that allows players to select multiple tank characters in a team. As far as we can ascertain, the enemy Rein attempts to attack outside of his spawn, but is blocked by his fellow Orisa’s fortification ability. This stops them from charging, but the “magnetic” nature of his pin effectively sucks the opposing Reinhardt through the normally impenetrable barrier to spawn.

While one would normally expect this to be as good as a death sentence for Reindhardt, their opponents seem as careless as they are. This element of surprise, combined with some rather spectacular through-the-door treatment from outside players Baptiste and Moira, keeps them alive for a good half-minute before they are finally cornered and go down.

The bug stuck me inside the enemy, has this ever happened? from Overwatch

The whole thing is reminiscent of an old Overwatch Reinhardt glitch that players often used to push other players out of bounds in Blizzard World. While it’s a bit surprising that this hasn’t been ironed out for Overwatch 2, it’s a very niche issue that’s likely to occur in many cases. Still, it’s a lot of fun to watch.
