Modern Warfare 2 fan has a great suggestion for improving telecards

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player suggestion can make it easier for players who want to earn calling cards to play flexible multiplayer matches.

Calling cards are one of the many ways players can develop their multiplayer skills Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, though one player has a suggestion to help you keep track of which cards players might want or need to win. The game has no shortage of customization options for players to mess around with, from the Operator Showcase to the more meticulous Gunsmith. However, it seems that a problem among some players is keeping track of the unlocks they already have, and the player’s suggestion may help fix that.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the continuation of 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot, starting three years after the events of the first game’s campaign and the formation of Task Force 141. The campaign follows Captain Price and the task force as they join forces with Mexican special forces to stop a possible terrorist plot with help a powerful cartel operating along the US-Mexico border. As mentioned above, there are many customization options for players to unlock within the game’s multiplayer, ranging from cosmetic changes to new weapons and parts, with Calling Cards being the first. Players can unlock Telecards between the game’s campaign and multiplayer to develop their skills in both arenas at the end of a match, although it is not always clear which Telecards players have unlocked. Reddit user 243099 offers a simple but effective idea to solve this problem, which allows players to see locked Call Cards the same way they can see locked camo options.

Modern Warfare 2 released with over 180 camos for players to earn by completing challenges, starting with Gold Camo Challenges and ending with Orion Camo Challenges. Players could argue that the sheer number of camo options available at launch, along with the addition of more in subsequent seasons, almost necessitated the need for a feature to help show which camo players have and haven’t unlocked. In turn, players can use this to help target the camos they want by focusing on select challenges instead of playing a proverbial guessing game of which challenge unlocks which camo.

A similar feature for Call Cards can help alleviate some potential headaches for players when trying to unlock the specific cards they want. Some players may not want to grind out hours of multiplayer for a Mastery Camo Calling Card and vice versa for campaign focused cards, and could argue that they would appreciate any feature that helps improve their experience. However, whether or not Infinity Ward will decide to act on the aforementioned Reddit user’s suggestion remains to be seen.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
