Experience rare chocolate drinking this holiday season at the Dominick Hotel in SoHo

It’s time for a golden trip – and I mean that in a good way.

There’s a very good reason to get to New York this holiday season.

For a limited time in November and December, The Dominick Hotel in SoHo will offer complimentary rare gold chocolate in its lobby, courtesy of Delysia Chocolatier. The chocolate basket experience will feature Gold Drinking Chocolate — more on that in a minute — along with other varieties like Pumpkin Spice (begins Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 23-26) and Peppermint (Dec. 15-18 and 22-25). Travelers, guests and New Yorkers alike will be able to customize each decadent cup with a variety of toppings from cinnamon and mint sticks to a homemade s’mores spice mix.

What is Gold Drinking? Chocolate?

Gold Chocolate is the newest couverture creation on the market. Light amber in color, the natural shade of golden chocolate is created from caramelized sugars and caramelized milk fat, providing a unique caramel chocolate flavor. Its intense, yet balanced flavor offers a hint of caramelized chocolate, caramel, butter, cream and a touch of chocolate.

Delysia Chocolatier’s Gold drinking chocolate is made with high-quality chocolate that is a luxury in itself. This exquisite drink takes on a sparkling dose of opulence courtesy of pure chocolate gold that makes this luxurious beverage as dazzling as it is delicious. Gold drinking chocolate is intensely rich and flavorful, handcrafted with 72 percent bittersweet chocolate with golden chocolate chips scattered throughout the mix.

Delysia Chocolatier, an award-winning artisan chocolate company based in Austin, Texas, is known for its rare gold drinking chocolate. Launched to the world in early spring 2020, Delysia Chocolatier was the first and perhaps the only chocolatier on the planet to craft hand-crafted Gold chocolate confections.

As the only freestanding Five-Diamond property in New York, The Dominick offers guests luxurious amenities with discreet service at its location on Spring Street in SoHo.

And here’s another good reason to visit the hotel – with wellness tourism at an all-time high. The property also houses a Babor-branded spa. I haven’t experienced it but Babor luxury skincare is a German company that offers excellent high quality products and is still a family business to this day. Babor has more than 60 years of experience in skin care. All research, development and production activities take place exclusively at the company’s headquarters in Aachen.

So treat your taste buds – and then treat your skin to German skin perfection. All this is a golden opportunity.
