As noted, Bayonet 3 has many things to uncover and hunt, including Umbran blood tears that can be collected from cats, crows, and frogs. Collecting Umbran Tears of Blood throughout the game rewards the player with a Phenomenal Remnant.

Bayonet 3 has received primarily positive reviews from fans and critics alike, which may be a relief after all these years of waiting. However, the game didn’t launch without first facing some controversy. Former Bayonetta actress Hellena Taylor revealed that her role had been recast shortly before the game’s release. However, additional information about her claims eventually came to light, and she added a request for fans to boycott the game and donate the money they would have spent to charity, including an anti-abortion stance. In response, Viola’s voice actress raised money for transgender charities. Regardless of players’ personal and political views, the controversy doesn’t seem to have had much of a negative impact on the game’s release.
